What do I need in each room?

You can provide rooms with a Radio & Control Module, opt for slave rooms with independant volume control or choose to integrate your current HiFi system in the Smart Music Network. You can also easily integrate you Smart Music system into your home automation system.

Zone with Radio & Control Module (RCM)

The Radio & Control Module fits in a double wall backbox and is available in white and silver.
It incorporates a high-sensitivity FM RDS tuner with built-in clock radio and sleep function. The unit can be manually tuned into a station or scan for the next station in the range. The name of the radio station is shown on the backlit LCD display.
The Radio & Control Module can furthermore select one of two extra audio inputs: a local source like an MP3 or CD player or network music.
The unit sends volume-controlled audio to the power amplifier (ABI-MM1001S40), which in turn feeds the on-wall, in-wall or in-ceiling speakers.

Slave zone with independant volume control

The volume controller allows you to switch on/off and change the volume of a Smart Music amplifier.
The combination of an extra amplifier and this volume controller offers an elegant solution to provide independent control over an extra room in a common music zone like for instance a conservatory or a reading-corner.
This volume controller is built into the wall using a Smart Music wall mounting kit and is available with a stylish white or silver finish. You can replace the volume controller by a Radio & Control Module at any moment in case you wish more autonomy in this specific area.

Smart Music also supports the ubiquitous 0-10V control, allowing easy and seamless integration of your audio system into almost all home automation systems.

Zone with HiFi system integrated in the Smart Music network

You can perfectly integrate your current HiFi system or Home theatre amplifier in the Smart Music network.
All you need is a free OmniMedia wall outlet and an abitana audio adapter.

Zone with precabling only

If your budget is too tight to invest in a complete Smart Music installation right away, you can install only cabling in certain rooms today. You can easily complete your Smart Music system later.
You can use a Smart Music mounting kit to hide the precabling and later install either a Radio & Control Module either a Remote Volume Control.
